From world-class service, destination-inspired cuisine and relaxing onboard facilities to passionate experts dedicated to giving insightful glimpses into each port of call, a cruise with Aurora Expeditions is a truly memorable experience.
To make the most out of your expedition cruise, it's essential that you are well-fuelled throughout. This is why each hearty meal is freshly made by the team of expert chefs, committed to providing excellent cuisine wherever in the world you are. What's more, meals are a social time so as you take your seat in the open dining restaurant you'll be able to share stories with fellow cruisers. In addition, tea coffee and snacks are available 24 hours a day, meaning there's no need to worry about going hungry.
For something a little more special, at the beginning and end of your cruise you'll be invited to the informal Captain's Welcome and Farewell drinks. Not only can you enjoy complimentary drinks and cocktail appetisers, but you'll also get to dine on an exceptional 3 course meal.
Once evening comes, you'll be able to enjoy fine dining followed by drinks in the bars and lounges, served by friendly bartenders. With the backdrop of floor-to-ceiling ocean views, you'll be able to share anecdotes from the day's excursions with fellow adventurers.
As with all aspects of Aurora Expeditions, onboard activities are focused on destination immersion and wildlife. There are panoramic observation decks, a number of viewpoints, and even hydraulic viewing platforms which can fold away or protrude from the ship, allowing an unobstructed view of the surroundings. Thanks to the cruise lines' flexible itineraries, the ship will stop and allow guests to make use of these whenever interesting wildlife passes by.
In addition, guests will have the chance to enjoy a range of fantastic lectures, covering subjects like history and culture, biology and climate change. Sit back and relax in a spacious and comfortable lounge, while taking in an enriching talk from an expert.
Those who wish to keep up with their fitness regime can make use of the onboard gym in the Wellness Centre, or if you're looking to relax and soothe weary muscles after a day of exploring, spend time in a sauna or Jacuzzi. For the ultimate relaxation, spa treatments such as massages are also on offer.

Aurora Expeditions Covid-19 safety measures
To be allowed to cruise, all guests must provide a Fit To Travel certificate from their doctor and fill in two pre-cruise questionnaires. As well as providing negative Covid test results 7 days before cruising and on the day of departure, guests will also have their temperature taken.
As well as deep cleaning of the ship between each voyage and cleaning of luggage before being loaded, cabins and public spaces will be regularly disinfected, as will frequently touched surfaces including furniture, door handles and rails. To ensure protocols are followed, crew will receive full training in the latest protocols. Clean air is also important, and to avoid recirculation, each room has air pumped directly from outside the ship. When it comes to guests, social distancing will be maintained where needed and masks required in public spaces. Instead of buffets, all meals will be plated individually and served by the crew.
With free medical consultations, a doctor and paramedic, medication and emergency care equipment onboard, guests will be well cared for should they become ill. In the case that guests or crew display symptoms, several cabins are dedicated to isolation.
