No purely because of the administration errors that occurred with our booking. When we arrived in Bridgetown we tried to book on board to be met with puzzled looks and eventually asked to go and sit at the back of the terminal, we watched everybody board including the staff and was eventually given a cabin. Found out after a week we had been doubled booked and cancelled. Numerous other admin errors. Which included incorrect disembarking labels and letter. However, Ship itself very nice. We were compensated for being down graded. This was appreciated. Overall experience very nice but cannot trust them again. Planet cruise staff very helpful when we contacted them regarding our attempts at trying to print out our boarding passes and luggage labels.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 1st cruise - 2 weeks about right length. Itinerary was very good - visited 9 islands in all and not too may days at sea even though there was plenty to do on board. However, we did think the Wi-fi was extremely expensive - would have been better to pay less for much less time online. We didn't use it because of price. Also, it helped us find our way around when there were more labels by the stairs - these appeared during the second week. All in all, thought it was very good value and will hope to do another cruise in due course.
I’m disabled and the service at Manchester was much better than usual, the 787 plane was spacious and the crew very nice. Food on the plane was decent too. We arrived at Barbados and there was a taxi 5 yards from the plane that took the two of us straight to the ship and we were on within minutes. That was great. Cabin was pretty good for the type of ship. Food at night in fixed time dining was rather good, the staff were all from a training school and they were all really attentive, they were great. As a larger ship it was busy on deck during the days at sea. The trips were good, best was when we went on a tour of St Maarten on 3 wheeled Spyder 1000 cc bikes for the day, a great experience,. Overall I enjoyed it, I just wish I was doing the same as the lady I met in the lift who was on her 7th of 8 weeks onboard.
