Celebrity Solstice reviews

The ship is somewhat dated having missed a scheduled refurbishment during the Covid lockdown period. It is now scheduled for 2026. The service was excellent and the dining experience very good.

The itineraries were exactly what we wanted.

Everything about trip excellent. Food quality on ship very good but repetitive. Live music on Solstice was great.

We have very nice time on this cruise.

Would have liked longer in Alaska rather than "drop" in to Victoria. Otherwise Celebrity was excellent as before.

We went on the Great Barrier Reef cruise in March 2018 with Celebrity on the Solstice. The ship was immaculate. The food, service and cabin 10/10! We would go on a Celebrity cruise again. The excursions were good although one was very over priced and not what it was described as!! So will be very careful what we choose if we are lucky enough to go again. The stops were good although one port we couldn't stop at because of a storm so had an extra day at sea - just unfortunate for us!

This ship/cruise was not 5 star. Impression from crew/company was that passengers were not important. Other ships were more inviting. Generally disappointed.

Captain Tassos fantastic, great sense of humour and clearly a first class captain. His talk on the building of the ship was really interesting and highly recommended. Itinerary superb with the highlight being the sounds and coming into Sydney Harbour. Staff really friendly and efficient-couldn't do enough for you. Surla in Blu restaurant deserves a special mention-a super personable and accommodating young woman-a credit to the company. Excursions on the expensive side but enjoyable and recommended.
