Costa Celebration

In 2014 Costa Celebration ceased sailing for Costa Cruises

Those seeking a highly modern and ultra-luxurious cruise ship need seek no further than the Costa Celebration which, following an extensive renovation and decoration programme, she boasts a elegant decor with unnique interior spaces. Travelling extensively throughout the Western Mediterranean, the Costa Celebration has a distinctly Spanish vibe reflected in the themes of different decks, restaurants and bars on board.

Offering its own personality and style, she offers a high standard of service and wide variety of onboard activities for guests to enjoy. This makes a cruise on the Costa Celebration not only great value for money but also an excellent holiday option for families and couples alike.

The Costa Celebration panoramic architecture ensures that everyone travelling on board is guaranteed a stunning view over the ocean and ports passing by. This is especially true upon Deck 10, also known as the Lugo deck, which is the location for the ship’s two swimming pools and also two of the on board Jacuzzis – allowing guests to enjoy the water from the water, so to speak!

With Club Diez on hand to take care of children ten years old and over and an additional youth club, parents can relax safe in the knowledge that their children are well taken care of by qualified professionals. On board the Costa Celebartion, relaxation is the key word, and the excellent facilities make this a very easy task.

As the main theme of the ship revolves around Spain, the restaurants and their menus are specifically designed to reflect the flavours and culture of this gorgeous country. On Deck 8, or Avila, both the Alboran Restaurant and Cantabrico Restaurant host formal indoor dining events with the finest dishes Spain has to offer featuring heavily on their menus.

However, up on Deck 10, otherwise known as Lugo, the atmosphere changes considerably and informality reigns. El Café del Sol, or café of the sun, is an outdoor eatery ideally placed for a light bite by the pool, while the Ensenada Buffet operates both indoors and outdoors, serving up fast food favourites for those keen to get back in the water. This is particularly advantageous for parents keen to grab a bite whilst keeping an eye on their water babies! The contemporary décor and delicious flavours mean that, no matter which eatery guests choose, they are guaranteed satisfaction.

On board the Ibero Grand Holiday, the difficulty is not so much finding an activity to pass the time but rather squeezing in everything during a single cruise! As well as the swimming pools and Jacuzzis, there is a fully stocked beauty and wellness centre with a hairdresser, massage treatment rooms and thermal treatment suite amongst many more options.

At night, however, guests’ schedules are likely to become even more jam-packed with a range of bars, discos and shows to fit in. The Grand Bazan Theatre is definitely not to be missed as performances from the Comedy Club are frequently held, while the Ibiza Disco on Deck 9, Pamplona, is always a big hit with those who love to dance. With bars, a casino and even a shopping centre also to discover, guests will certainly not be disappointed.
