Friendly staff, good food & drink, excellent onboard band - The Excell, a variety of other shows, 3 ports cancelled due to storm so beyond the control of NCL & recompense offered for disappointment. Overall, very good!

My wife and I have been cruising every year since 2007 and this was our 2nd cruise with NCL the previous being on the Spirit in 2017. The ships crew on the Star were exceptional, the facilities and entertainment were very good and the overall condition of the ship were better compared to that of the Spirit. My wife had an operation on her hand earlier in the year which resulted in her wedding ring(which she had worn for 27 years) no longer being suitable to wear as it could not be enlarged. So whilst in one of the ports I purchased a replacement. When we arrived back on board during a question time session with the captain and first officers we asked the captain if he could conduct a small service of sorts for the new ring. The next day we we escorted up to the Bridge where the captain Konstaninos Gkokas read a small passage and presented some flowers to my wife. After going ashore we returned to our cabin to find champagne, hand made chocolates, roses, a signed certificate and photos of the ship and the cruise. It was such a wonderful experience and gesture and completed our cruise, we will always have fond memories of the cruise for the rest of our lives. Our thanks to captain Gkokas and all the crew for a fantastic cruise and will certainly be sailing with NCL again.
