Sea Princess

Sea Princess has sadly been retired from service. However, you'll find lots more fantastic ships to choose from on Princess Cruises' cruise line page.

If you close your eyes and imagine your perfect cruise, what do you see? If your ideal cruise moves through some of the most beautiful waters on earth - Australia and New Zealand, not to mention Hawaii - or is even a world cruise, the cruise ship which will take you there is likely the Sea Princess. As a mid-sized cruise ship in the superb Princess Lines fleet, she is the best of all worlds, combining the luxury and amazing offerings available on some of the largest cruise ships with the intimacy, friendliness, and community feeling you’ll find on smaller cruise ships like the Pacific Princess. While you ride the Sea Princess, you’re on top of the world, and countless passengers have agreed that the Sea Princess is one of the finest cruise ships working today. She has also been recently refurbished and fitted with what the Princess Lines call the “Sanctuary”, an adults-only space which will relax, rejuvenate, and remind you of the peace you can only find on the open water.

The Sea Princess has a cozy, welcoming air, but also boasts some of the most beautiful spaces on any cruise ship at sea. With breathtaking views, newly refurbished carpets and decor, and the usual hospitality, delicious dining, and excellent activities you expect from the Princess Lines, the Sea Princess is one of the best ways to explore the world. With her capacity of 1900 passengers, you’re sure to feel welcome the moment you step on board.

The dining choices on board the Sea Princess are a blend of traditional and casual, perfect for anyone interested in discovering what they love most about cruise dining. There are two primary dining rooms - the Rigoletto and Traviata - both of which are impeccably decorated in rich colour schemes, and both feature stunning surroundings and gorgeous views out onto the water. The Traviata is the more traditional of the two, offering set seating which allows you to get to know your fellow travellers, while the Rigoletto allows for “anytime dining” with companions of your choosing. Both offer similar menus, ensuring nobody loses out on the delicious meals, all of which are based on traditional luxury cruise fare.

The Sea Princess buffet is well-loved by all its passengers, and if you’re in the mood for something a little different, there are speciality dining options available as well. The Cafe Corniche is a casual dining spot offering delicious pizzas and upscale Italian antipasti, while the Sterling Steakhouse is as fantastic as always, serving perfectly grilled choices of select cuts of meat.

Reviews have called the Sea Princess’s onboard entertainment “exciting and imaginative”, and we know you’ll feel the same. With a wide range of choices including magic, comedy, singing, and much more as part of traditional variety acts with a thoroughly modern feel, you’ll never feel at a loss for how to spend your evening at sea.

Movies Under The Stars showings make for a majestic evening.  Elsewhere onboard you’ll find the usual suspects - wonderful pools and hot tubs, a spa and fitness centre, and all the quiet places you’ll ever need to unwind in front of a beautiful ocean view. Hit Discovery Channel TV shows come to life through Princess Cruises Discovery at Sea programme. Expect fun themed activities and shore excursions.

With the kids entertained, adults can enjoy the onboard Casino and evening entertainment, you’ll never be bored here.
