Before Cruising
Guests must complete a health questionnaire and screenings to make sure they are fit to travel. Arrival times will also be staggered so that social distancing can be maintained.

Onboard
Once onboard, guests will find more hand sanitiser stations throughout the yachts, as well as enhanced cleaning of everything from public spaces to the sports decks, equipment, tender boats and buses on shore. In addition, restaurant dining times have been extended meaning that there will be less guests at one time.

Crew and Medical
Before boarding crew will undergo health screening and will have their temperatures taken twice a day throughout the cruise. They will also be required to wear masks and gloves when needed, and take part in COVID-19 prevention training. Should any illnesses arise during a cruise, the medical centre is well equipped, with extra staff on hand.

Windstar is offering each of the first two guests in a qualifying suite/stateroom the option to choose one of the following credits: up to $1,000 USD shipboard credit per suite/stateroom; OR up to one free hotel night per suite/stateroom for select cities in Europe; OR unlimited internet access - one device or two devices per stateroom ($70 per day value); OR the Captain’s Exclusive Beverage Package for Premium Suites. Shipboard credits are available in the following amounts: $1,000 USD shipboard credit per Premium Suite ($500 USD per guest) for sailings 14 days or over; $400 USD shipboard credit per standard suite/stateroom ($200 USD per guest) for sailings 14 days or over; $400 USD per Premium Suite ($200 USD per guest) for sailings less than 14 days; $200 USD per standard suite/stateroom ($100 USD per guest) for sailings less than 14 days. Shore excursions using shipboard credit must be booked onboard. Single fares will receive shipboard credit at the per guest rate. The Captain’s Exclusive Beverage Package is only available for guests booking a Premium Suite.
