For children onboard Island Princess there is the excellent youth centre where there are activities throughout the day and evening. In addition to that, there are 3 swimming pools, table tennis, a sports court and mini golf.
There are also loads of great leisure facilities onboard Island Princess, with no fewer than three swimming pools and six hot tubs. Each of the pools offers something slightly different, such as the swim-against-the-current lap pool located in the fitness centre providing a particularly great workout.
There are dining options aplenty onboard Island Princess, with the Provence Dining Room and the Bordeaux Dining Room both offering a highly refined experience, and not forgetting the patisserie or the sundae ice cream bar, which are perfect for when you're feeling a little peckish.
The Princess Theatre hosts nightly performances of some of the greatest shows at sea, while the Movies Under the Stars outdoor cinema provides another great way to spend an evening. In addition, talented cruisers can sing their hearts out at the Voice of the Ocean singing competition providing a one of a kind experience onboard Island Princess.
For those looking to spend some time in a bar or one of the many luxury lounges to catch up with friends or simply relax, Crooners Bar and the Churchill Lounge provide the perfect opportunity for this. If you are looking for live entertainment, the Wheelhouse Bar offers live music and the opportunity for a pre or post-dinner drink.
Booked specifically to transit Panama Canal which was amazing. Due to shortage of staff in restaurants we were unable to book our preferred dining times. When booked alternative time still had to queue at the restaurants. The entertainments team were very good and professional. Would have liked more trivia quizzes but those on offer were good covering a good range of subjects. Onboard staff and food were excellent as always with Princess.
Smaller ship and it never got crowded on board. Sea days there was plenty of room for everyone who wanted to lounge about. Staff very polite, friendly, helpful & efficient.
