First steel cutting for Seabourn Cruises' newest ship

Marking an exciting milestone for the journey of Seabourn Cruises' new ship, the first steel has been cut in September 2020. As the sister ship to Seabourn Venture, which arrives in 2021, we expect the same level of luxury onboard this exciting expedition ship, which is currently unnamed.

Seabourn Cruises New Ship Steel Cutting

Purpose-built to voyage the breathtaking waters of the Arctic and Antarctic, both ships feature innovative Polar-class hulls and technology, allowing them to safely bring guests to the heart of these fascinating destinations. As well as this, guests can hop onboard submarines and Zodiacs to experience excursions like never before, and enjoy insightful lectures from a host of naturalists, scientists and other experts.

However, it's not just about the activities onboard Seabourn's newest ships. Guests will relax and unwind in stunning verandah suites, while enjoying the same award-winning service that Seabourn offers across the entire fleet.

Speaking on the exciting news, president of Seabourn Josh Leibowitz said, "this milestone further underscores our commitment to the expedition travel category and I’m confident these ships will deliver extraordinary expedition experiences.” We can't wait to see what's next for Seabourn Cruises!
