Anthem of the Seas

Anthem of the Seas plays host to a range of revolutionary features, in addition to some amazing firsts at sea. With the best in entertainment, delicious cuisine, comfortable staterooms and adventures beyond belief, a cruise onboard Anthem of the Seas will guarantee everyone has the holiday of a lifetime. She can accommodate almost 5,000 passengers, without ever feeling crowded or overwhelming. Instead, she's comparable to a fantastic city centre which has something for everyone.

Accommodation on Anthem of the Seas

Spacious and luxurious, all rooms have been designed to an extremely high standard. Virtual balconies project a real-time video of the ocean onto an LED screen inside VB interior cabins, plus Anthem of the Seas also features Family Connected staterooms, giving families the option to be together as well as take time out if needed. For the most premium accommodation, the loft suites feature sensational sea views from floor-to-ceiling windows.

Experience a culinary journey at sea with delicious dining onboard Anthem of the Seas.

There are four main dining rooms onboard, from contemporary dining at Chic to classic New Orleans favourites at the American Icon Grill, classic dining in Grande or exotic Pan-Asian fare in Silk - there is something to suit all cruisers' tastes.

Check out the well-stocked breakfast buffet in the Windjammer Marketplace and find plenty of options to grab food on the go throughout the ship to fuel action-packed days at sea. 50's inspired diner Johnny Rockets is a must for burgers and shakes, while hot dogs, pizza, salads and sandwiches are available from venues including the Seaplex Doghouse,  Sorrento's, The Cafe @ Two70, and Cafe Promenade.

In addition to the huge selection of dining venues included in your Anthem of the Seas cruise, there are also some fabulous speciality restaurants available to enjoy at a supplement, perfect for a special occasion or "night out" onboard. Try the mouth-watering cuisine at Jamie's Italian, clean eating and healthy options in the Solarium Bistro or be wowed by the creative dining experience in Wonderland.  For perfectly prepared steak and seafood dishes go for Chop's Grille, or you can find Japanese specialities at Izumi. Alternatively, for a truly extra-special, multi-course meal that you'll remember, make a reservation for the outstanding Chef's Table restaurant.

Suite guests also have the option of dining at exclusive restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, where California meets the Mediterranean in some wonderful fusion cooking.

When it comes to onboard entertainment, Anthem of the Seas leaves little to be desired. With several fantastic venues offering a wide range of things to see and do.

Music Hall is the place to go for live bands and singing acts. It's a spacious area with a bold design, where guests can enjoy parties, themed events, dancing and sounds of world-class live music.

Two70 is a venue like nothing on land, let alone at sea. A panoramic venue at the top of the ship that displays the breath-taking ocean view during the day, then as the sun goes down turns into a phenomenal entertainment venue. Evenings see the walls covered with hi-tech digital projection and incredible performances from aerialists, gymnasts, dancers and other entertainers.

For rip-roaring, impressive productions head to the main Royal Theatre, where some fantastic shows from the award-winning Royal Caribbean entertainment programme occur regularly.

However, if you prefer a more relaxed evening of chatting with fellow guests over a glass of wine or a cocktail, the ship has a selection of bars to choose from, including the stylish ice bar inside Two70. Be sure to go along to the Bionic Bar at least once during your cruise, and watch in awe as robot arms build your cocktail after you've ordered it from a tablet at your table.

Anthem of the Seas caters for those looking to stay fit and healthy on holiday, not least with their health-conscious restaurant, Solarium Bistro. To stay active cruisers can use the two outdoor swimming pools for doing lengths or laps, the sports court for competitive team games, and the running track for a brisk morning walk/jog/run. There is also a fitness centre onboard which houses plenty of modern gym equipment, and also several group exercise classes.
After taking care of yourself with a workout, spend some time relaxing and rejuvenating in the Vitality at Sea Spa. Here you can simply lounge around to unwind, or you can be pampered with a treatment like a massage or facial. There is also a salon in which skilled professionals can provide hair and nail treatments.
There'll be never a dull day onboard Anthem of the Seas thanks to the wealth of exciting things to do;
  • North Star - a pod-like capsule that elevates people more than 300 feet above sea level, taking guests on a once in a lifetime journey with incredible 360-degree views of the ocean and surrounding destinations the ship visits.
  • Mini Golf - get competitive with friends and family at this timeless activity which can be enjoyed by cruisers young and old
  • Ripcord by iFly - an indoor sky diving simulator that uses wind tunnel technology to create a realistic skydive experience
  • Rock-climbing - push yourself to take on this staggering climbing wall - have as many goes as it takes to reach the top!
  • Flowrider - try surfing for the first time on this brilliant simulator, and even arrange for a private lesson if preferred
  • Pools and Whirlpools - with two outdoor pools and four whirlpools, there should always be plenty of room for those who fancy a dip.

The SeaPlex arena is a unique venue that will inspire guests to let their fun side break-out. From basketball, roller discos, circus school and bumper cars -this is the place to re-live your childhood. You'll also find facilities for table tennis and football, plus Xbox games consoles which can be used for online play.

For a lovely selection of books, workshops, lectures, and arts and crafts activities, go along to the library or check your daily newsletter - the Cruise Compass - to find out exactly what's going on and when.
