Customer reviews for MSC Virtuosa
Inside cabin was clean and comfortable. Ship was well maintained. Buffet food was good quality and choices, dinner in the dining room food was average at best. There is a lack of soft seating to drink a coffee and read a book, and there are not many big windows so you have to search for places where you can see the sea while on board. Relaxed dress codes. Lots of outside space if the weather is nice. Smoking permitted on board at the pool and in the casino means we would not cruise on her for a longer holiday.
Did nothing but queue for everything. Storage in cabin really limited, yet there was plenty of room for there to have been more.
First cruise & went with a friend. Ship was good, extremely clean & all staff welcoming & helpful. Cabin exceeded expectations. Dining time request was changed from 5. 30pm to 21. 30pm, so not table allocated at our requested time, which meant turning up & waiting to see if we could be accommodated. Which they did - but not very relaxing. It also meant it was hard to plan our evenings. We were unable to dock at Falmouth, which was a disappointment & time in Cork & Portland cut short to accommodate this. All in all & great experience - however I am not sure cruising on such a big ship is for me.
We were really looking forward to our short break on MSC Virtuosa. We were not disappointed. Everything about the ship was first class. The facilities were amazing with so much going on day and night. The cabin was also amazing along with the cabin steward who was always around, friendly and helpful. The food was extremely good. One of the excursions (Cobh) was not so good and very poor value for money. However the guide was very goodWe would most defiantly book again with MSC
