During the day onboard there are many different activities to choose from, for guests of all ages. Families can make memories with the brilliant Discovery at SEA program, which offers opportunities like star-gazing, and learning about the world around us with Encounters and Shark Week. Thrilling games can be held on the Sports Deck, where teams can get together to play things like basketball and volleyball.
If adults want a break from little ones they can rest assured that they are in safe hands at the Princess Cruises youth centres. Catering for those aged 3-17, these clubs put on age-appropriate activities which seek to educate and enrich, as well as provide a fun setting for socialising.
While the kids are at the kid’s clubs, grown-ups can make the most of another fantastic area of Sky Princess; The Sanctuary. This peaceful, adults-only area has plush sun loungers in which you can bask in the sun, read a book, sip on a cocktail or dine on a small meal which will be brought to you by an attentive waiter. There are also eight private cabanas available to rent here, and a cabana in which you can even enjoy an al fresco spa treatment. Imagine feeling the warmth of the sun as a skilled masseuse works out any tension you’ve been carrying.
Other activities include browsing the onboard shops for gifts and souvenirs, getting lost in a book in the library, and exploring thought-provoking pieces in the art gallery - and attending auctions to bid on something should you wish to take it home.
