Spirit of Adventure

As with the rest of the ships in the Saga Cruises fleet, Spirit of Adventure offers a superb quality of service, amenities, and atmosphere onboard. Luxury is exuded across all ten passenger decks, from the exquisite fine dining opportunities, to the 554 all-balcony cabins. The ship can accommodate up to 999 passengers, and the impressive number of single cabins – 100 – helps to allow for a wide range of people onboard; couples, groups, and solo travellers.

Dining with Saga Cruises is a fabulous affair. Those looking for an experience akin to those of the ‘Golden Years’ of cruising will relish in the plentiful chances to don their finest attire, and sit down to a memorable evening of elegant food, fine wines, and good company. Restaurants onboard Spirit of Adventure include,

The Dining Room – this main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all of which are of a superior standard. Waiter service here is second to none, and the splendid afternoon tea is a must at least once during your cruise.

The Grill – a wonderful option for warm weather, this alternative slightly less formal venue offers indoor and outdoor seating. Choose this restaurant if you’re looking relax in the last of the evening sun, while enjoying a delectable wine and freshly prepared meal.

Amalfi – guests who love hearty Italian food will no doubt want to sample several dishes at this comfortable and welcoming restaurant. Find your favourite fresh pizzas, pastas, meat and fish dishes, and of course a range of perfectly paired wines.

Khukuri – for something a little different, head here for a night of delicious Nepalese cuisine and excellent hospitality. Why not be brave and try something you’ve never heard of before? Be that delicious momos (dumplings), a spicy fragrant curry, or something else entirely.

There a several venues to choose from for both daytime and evening entertainment. If you’re simply looking to meet fellow cruisers and swap stories over a drink, head to The Supper Club, The Observation Deck, The Living Room, or the ship’s main social hub, the North Cape Bar.

Alternatively, the Britannia Lounge offers various fun activities during the day and live entertainment in the evening, and The Playhouse is a rather exquisite theatre, which seats 420.

Cruisers who wish to keep on top of health and fitness during their holiday will appreciate the facilities available at the gym, and of course the pools. There is also an outdoor games area which hosts deck games and even has a sports court.
