Lovely ship and very clean.
Definitely worth getting the conservatory mini suite - the room was wonderful. Lovely boat, plenty of places to sit, sunbathe, swim, etc. Minor quibble is that the best restaurants get booked up very quickly but there are plenty of other options. Well worth the money.
My first ever cruise and holiday by myself, and I’m so glad I did it! The cruise was fantastic to Norway, staff were so helpful, embarking and disembarking was so simple and easy the whole thing was stress free. The entertainment and things to do onboard were brilliant there was always something to do. Everything was clean, despite lots of families with children, all children were very well behaved and didn’t take away from the experience at all. Waiting staff in the inclusive restaurants were very helpful with my dietary requirements (vegan and nut allergy) and offered me pre-ordering to ensure I got meals right for me. The only disappointment with food was with both the other inclusive restaurant types with the burgers, pizzas, hotdog stands and the all day buffets, there were no vegan options in the fast food ones, and the horizon buffet has minimum options even for vegetarian! A veggie breakfast was just plum tomatoes, beans sometimes potato’s fried and toast, no sausages or other options. And more often than not there wasn’t much left because the meat eaters also had the veggie options so waiting tones were long. It would be nice as it’s all included in what you pay just like people who have all these different meats, to have vegan options as they can easily be kept frozen and eaten by both vegan and vegetarian people, which these days is a lot of people. Other than that small point, I had absolutely no complaints and I’m already planning my next cruise!
Fantastic ship. Very efficient boarding and disembarking at Southampton and the ports in Norway. Good choice of restaurants and food. Plenty to do aboard the ship. Friendly efficient staff and crew. Fabulous scenery. Would thoroughly recommend this cruise.
