Generally had a great time, there was some sickness on the ship so extra hygiene protocols were in place (everything served for you, even salt & pepper) which slowed down service but at least it meant we didn't get sick ourselves. Most of the staff were excellent. Our balcony room was nice but we did experience sewage smells coming through the aircon vent a few times. Food was good but not as good and well as previous P&O cruises we have been on, and the cocktail list has been reduced- no Margaritas! Only a weird frozen blue Margarita from the pool bar. In fact all cocktails at the pool bar were slushy ice ones which was disappointing. So not as special as our previous trips but we will book with P&O again as value for money is good.
Good itinerary, food good and drinks prices reasonable. Inside cabin was quite roomy and perfectly adequate. The speciality restaurants are excellent and service impeccable. A range of entertainment in the theatre and Manhattan bar so something to suit everyone. The main draw is that the cost of the cruise, flight and transfers represents excellent value for money.
Lovely Ship and food was excellent. Staff looked stressed at times due to staff shortages with sickness on board. Entertainment was mostly excellent with Tom Ball, Sarah Dunn and the headliners but unfortunately Dean Stansby was poor. But overall a very enjoyable cruise.
