Ship tired but is going in for refurb February. Dining and restaurant staff excellent as was the cabin steward. No ambience on board. Waiting staff serving drinks uncooperative and miserable. Took forever to get served! A bit put off by Celebrity, standards are falling.

Ship recently undergone a refit so cabin was very stylish and comfortable. Sadly no library, laundrette or games room. Food and service were excellent. Entertainment good. However, a lot of upselling, pushing speciality restaurants when main dining room and buffet were both best food we have had on a cruise. Our itinerary was changed twice due to adverse weather. We were unable to stop at Bar Harbor, as harbour was closed due to a storm, so we went to Sagueney which was a lovely port, and we were able to enjoy the autumn colours to the full. We then had to go to Sydney NS a day early and miss out Charlotte Town due to impending storm, arriving at Halifax just before the harbour was closed. Captain was excellent communicator and gave 2 presentations explaining change of course during the cruise. Would have liked a bit more entertainment on board. Films were shown on top open deck but it was mostly too cold and windy to sit up there. Felt the entertainment could have been more suited to the weather at times.
