All good but the entertainment and activities were aimed at the Spanish however so we could not easily join in but we understand as it was a Spanish boat
It was our first cruise so we weren't sure what to expect. We had no need to worry as everything was fine. The crew were incredible and deserve ten stars for friendliness and hard work. Nothing was too much trouble. We will not hesitate to book another cruise in the future.
First impression after landing in Athens was no info about getting to ship. I was told by a fellow passenger that the bus was a good option. On arriving at the port, we had a 3km walk,dragging our cases to finally reach the ship. After checking in, I was confronted by a member of staff who tried to sell me the up-grade drink package telling me that practically no drinks were included. I told him that was not what was advertised and refused to pay the extortionate £145 extra for drinks I didn't even like. I later found out that many other drinks were included. The cruise itself was great. However, when we reached the end of the cruise there was no info at all on how to reach the airport, and on finally collecting my cases, I found I was at the back of a 200yard queue waiting for taxis which took over one and a half hours. This is disgusting. Unless you can provide transfers to and from the ship, I will never choose your company again,and will deter EVERYONE who asks me how was my holiday. I believe that everyone in that queue will feel the same. Sad to think that this bad feeling at the end of such a lovely cruise could have been avoided and turned into goodwill. I would like to add that I am 73 years old and quite fit, which is lucky, having to cope with such a struggle at the start and end of my holiday.
