I would like to thank before everything to Zaira, who keeps my room tidy, clean , and with a good smell, every day and everytime The buffet was amazing with huge variety of food, and always fresh. The service , amazing , and kind. The escursions , may improve and be more organized. I am thankful as well to swaleh , always ready to answer my questions about pools temperature , making feel guest confortable and safe. The entertainment is quite nice, and I was absolutely amazed by shows I have seen in the teathre by dancers and singers. I actually fell in love with the voice of the lady who was singing. It is just an amazing experience travelling with MSC, where you will feel welcomed, cared by the family environment and the extreme professionalism

The ship was nice, crew were amazing, but the entertainment wasn’t great and too many ports and not enough time ashore.

Ship was nice and clean, not enough bar staff/waiters as they were severely overworked but gave a good service. Food in a la carte restaurants was not always hot enough and food in buffet was not very varied day to day. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating but something about the ship did not seem quite right to us compared to other ships we have been on.

Oh, it was just SO much better to experience the MSC great lounge entertainment after the awful stuff that we experienced on Holland America in October. The difference is like day and night, with MSC being upbeat and lively, compared to HA where people were falling asleep in the lounges. Service and food was, as usual excellent value for money. Staff who bent over backwards to to keep us happy. Out of 25 cruises, Stephany, our cabin maid, was one of the best. Always cheery, hard working, unintrusive and efficient. Bar and restaurant staff were the same. Addressing us by name when we entered lounges and knowing our favourite drinks, etc. The bands in the lounges were SUPERB, playing a wide variety of excellent music to cater for the diverse audience. Unlike HA, the lounges were packed every night and you had to get in reasonably early to get a good seat. The theatre shows were also first class with the first night's performance being West Side Story and there were various others right through to The Adams Family, which was hilarious as well as having excellent singing and dancing. The main singers onboard were superb as were the dancers. The itinerary was good, but of course at this time of year in the Mediterranean, the one thing that you cannot guarantee is the weather. In Malta, the heavens opened and we experienced rain so heavy that it was actually coming into the coach via the air conditioning vents and dripping onto us. It wasn't an old coach either, but it is the only time that I have seen people with their brollies up inside a coach. In Heraklion, it wasn't much better and in Rhodes it rained but nowhere nearly as heavily. From there on, it got better. This didn't bother us much as we'd been to most ports before, so we simply stayed onboard or did our own thing in other ports. One thing that really did impress us was the lack of pollution emitting from the MSC Magnifica funnel. On both the Norwegian Jade in July in the fjords, and on the Holland America Zaandam in South America, we were leaving a horrible blue fog behind us all the way, and I have seen similar pollution from other ships that we have been on. However, the MSC Magnifica was only showing the ripples of hot air coming out. No visible particulate pollution, so MSC are obviously using the particulate filters properly, whereas other cruise lines (Carnival Group in particular) don't use them because of the extra fuel cost! Apparently, the legal requirement is that they are fitted, but it does not say that they must be used! Well done MSC!!!

Msc cruise was excellent. Planet cruise are a joke of a company once you have paid the balance you can kiss good by to customer service. Booked room for 2 adults and 2 kids 3 and 6month old we all ended it up on one bed as the pull down wall beds are not suitable for young children found this out couple of weeks before travel rang them was told nothing they can do I should of asked 😂 never been on a cruise before went through a so called cruise Speacalist and they don’t even let you know stuff like that. There was a transfer for the flight back asked how long was told 45 mins get there ends up being 3. 5 hours no traffic that’s how long it takes . Was told lots of things by cruise Speacalist planet cruise all of it a load of crap do your sets a favour and book direct with the cruise liners they are more informative and better customer service and care. Planet cruise your a joke. MSC you were great and help were you could many thanks.

The ship was beautiful well maintained and very clean , the hygiene standards are high with hand sanitizer ready available. The smoking policy was not to our liking as it was not restricted to outside areas and at points to optain access to the buffet you had to pass though smoking area which is not advisable with children. The dining was of a high standard but in the buffet was repetitive and didn't cater for the British taste. The staff were polite and attentive I wouldn't hesitate to go on this ship again.
