Ship itself is ok food in restaurant was poor only warm when arrived with you. The entertainment wasn’t good either advertised as British acts but mainly opera singers.
Beautiful well organised and managed ship. Staff professional and friendly. Food good considering the amount of people they catered for. Really enjoyed the cruise.... can't wait for the next one.
Nice ship but the food was terrible. We didn't have one decent meal in 14 days on board. We completed the questionnaire that they gave us half way through the holiday & when we said the food & service in restaurant was below standard the head waiter came to see us. We told him the problems we had & the next morning when we went to breakfast he was waiting for us. The service & food was red hot but still nothing to write home about. Next day everything was back to normal. Usually when we cruise we never eat when we are off the ship, but this time we had no alternative. My husband said it was a waste of time going to the restaurant in the evening because we never really eat anything, we were only going in there because we didn't want to be rude to the couple on our table. If the food had been worth eating the cruise would have been good value because we were happy with everything else.
Couldn’t fault the ship service and food good .entertainment not as good as we would have liked but was just a matter of taste.the staff on board were very attentive and answered any questions when required. The transfers were organised and the ports of call were ok but not very big ports but enough to see and do,we visited Le Havre,La Coruna,Bilbao,Le Verdon sur mer ,Amsterdam and Hamburg Planet cruise were excellent organising everything and answered all my questions.
Les seuls points négatifs sont la barrière de la langue avec le personnel qui parle très peu l'anglais et encore moins le français. Il faut souligner également la mauvaise organisation du service photo car il faut chercher et fouiller soi-même pour retrouver ses photos. Un système de numéro distribué par les photographes serait plus pratique. Par ailleurs, pour les primo-croisiéristes, une réunion d'accueil pour expliquer le fonctionnement des différents services serait bien utile. En effet, arrivés sur le bâteau, nous n'avons été accueilli que par un serveur qui souhaitait à tout prix nous vendre un forfait boisson. Ensuite, nous avons dû nous débrouiller pour trouver des réponses à toutes nos questions. Heureusement qu'à notre table du diner nous avions des croisiéristes d'expérience et qui était français. Autre point négatif, quand les animations ne nous correspondent pas et qu'il ne fait pas beau, les journées en mer peuvent paraître un peu longue sauf à avoir emporter un bon roman. Sinon, l'itinéraire était parfait avec des paysages magnifiques et des excursions très intéressantes et très bien organisées. Le personnel de service est adorable et aux petits soins avec nous. Nous ne regrettons pas cette expérience qui était nouvelle pour nous.
Ship beautiful, staff excellent our only criticism is the dining times and freedom dining was at a cost. We did find the daytime activities lacking to us Brits which was more geared to other countries, but only a minor point. Overall a good cruise.
The decor of the ship was a "Wow" factor. The food in the Buffet Cafe was fine but the Evening Menu's were limited. The seating on our particular table was not too good. The staff were okay. The entertainment was disappointing as there were no acts flown in. When we booked the cruise we booked a table for 6:15pm for our evening meal. When we first arrived we were told that the first sitting was at 5:45pm which was too early. Some ot the excursions got us back too late to make the first sitting, so we had to eat in the Buffet. The celebration package was excellent for our wedding annivesary. We found it a bit intrusive to hear the announcements and lifeboat drill in six languages each time there were new passengers embarking at each port.
The ship was beautiful well maintained and very clean , the hygiene standards are high with hand sanitizer ready available.The smoking policy was not to our liking as it was not restricted to outside areas and at points to optain access to the buffet you had to pass though smoking area which is not advisable with children. The dining was of a high standard but in the buffet was repetitive and didn't cater for the British taste. The staff were polite and attentive I wouldn't hesitate to go on this ship again.

Msc cruise was excellent. Planet cruise are a joke of a company once you have paid the balance you can kiss good by to customer service. Booked room for 2 adults and 2 kids 3 and 6month old we all ended it up on one bed as the pull down wall beds are not suitable for young children found this out couple of weeks before travel rang them was told nothing they can do I should of asked 😂 never been on a cruise before went through a so called cruise Speacalist and they don’t even let you know stuff like that. There was a transfer for the flight back asked how long was told 45 mins get there ends up being 3.5 hours no traffic that’s how long it takes . Was told lots of things by cruise Speacalist planet cruise all of it a load of crap do your sets a favour and book direct with the cruise liners they are more informative and better customer service and care. Planet cruise your a joke. MSC you were great and help were you could many thanks.
