Fabulous cruise, ship was amazing. We also renewed our wedding vows and wow they made it so special. Everything was perfect, could not fault one single thing.

We would go on another MSC ship again, we paid extra for the drinks package which is well worth but it would be good if this was included

Not enough sun beds. Ship very crowded. But had great time. Did own excursions as ships were expensive for families.

The only thing we were unhappy about was the unexpected 10 euros per person per day (so 160 euros in total) added to our account. When questioning it, we asked if it was optional and we were told that it was, so we requested it to be removed which it duly was. We then tipped any staff that had served us individually and also left a tip in our cabin. Check your bill!

The ship itself had excellent decor and was very clean and the cabin was perfectly acceptable. The big let down was the quality and presentation of the food.We shared a table with 3 other couples and we all had issues - 2 examples 1 - Grilled Chicken Breast and Fries this looked like a poor pub meal for children 2 - Beef Lasagne this was served on its own with no salad, garlic bread etc. There was no offer of tea or coffee after the evening meal and we could not get coffee in the cabin except through room service. On this basis I would not recommend this ship. I would not rule out further cruises with MSC but only if it was a really good deal.

The ship is excellent and the staff are very helpful and willing to please. The itinerary is very good and provides a good insight to another part of the world and cultures.

Ship was very noisy. Entertainment was very poor and not of a standard expected of a premier cruise line. Food in the restaurant was mediocre, though the buffet was fine. Excursions were overpriced and there was a deliberate absence of information for those passengers who wanted to be more independent.

The MSC Splendida is a very good ship with plenty of facilities for all ages. We especially liked the13 bars of which we only managed to get round half of them. The cruise itself was very good value and the cabin was spacious and comfortable. The staff were also very good and cheerful. The ports of call were good except for Khasab which was a waste of time, a one street town with a mosque, we would have preferred an extra day in Dubai which was excellent although rather expensive for food and drink. Overall the package was excellent value for money.

If you want to lose weight do this cruise. Portions in the dining room in the evening were so small that most people seemed to be resorting to two starters and two mains in order to obtain some sustenance. Entertainment timing was bizarre. If you ate at 19:30 the recommended theatre time for you was 17:15. Other cruises have a 22:00 performance which fits perfectly as an after dinner event. The one show we did see was tired, unadventurous and dated. The cast seemed to enjoy it about as much as the audience did.
