Lovely ship. Great service from friendly staff. Two out of four port stops cancelled though, which was a bit disappointing!
Although I enjoyed the cruise itself, the cabin was not clean on arrival. Having said that customer service read my feedback and came to see us in our cabin. Not only did they address all the issues raised, they presented us with a bottle of champagne for the inconvenience. The waiting staff were exceptional and kept our little girl entertained throughout the cruise. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they definitely helped to make the cruise enjoyable. That being said, I don’t think I would travel on Ventura again. It always seems very overcrowded and you get the impression that there are more passengers than the infrastructure can cope with. No matter what time of the day we went up to Deck 15 there were never tables available. A couple of times we took our food back to our cabin. Dinner in the Saffron and Cinamon restaurants were better only because of the virtual queueing system and even that had a few glitches.
Ventura, lovely medium size ship with 4 speciality restaurants plus the buffet and formal dining rooms. Service is excellent and the costs of drinks etc. on board are as normal (I did not take the drinks package). Entertainment was good with a variety of shows, plus a comedian/magician (excellent). Ventura has had a refit since last I was last on her and is in good order. Staff were excellent, ensuring we were served and any request covered. Please note this is a ship of 3,500 passengers, there will always niggles and sometimes not to your taste, but with so many people it is understandable - only to say, everyone is friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Our experience on the Ventura sailing around the Canary Islands and Cádiz and Lisbon was fantastic. What a lovely friendly ship. The food was amazing especially the formal nights. We had a balcony and it was very spacious and comfortable inside. A very relaxing holiday. Highly recommend sailing on the Ventura.

The Ventura was a wonderful ship for our 1st Cruise. So much to do couldn’t do it all. Cabin was great and staff were so kind and friendly. Excursions were great. Will definitely go on another cruise.
Boarding and leaving the ship quick and efficient. We booked 1st sitting table for 2 and got 1st sitting table for 8, so had to change for Flexi dining what turned out a lot easier than when we were on another ship. Ordering and receiving drinks quick and pleasant staff. Entertainment very repetitive same people just different venue. Overall a lovely trip.
Fabulous cruise itinerary really enjoyed the ports. Food was even better than we had experienced before and the entertainment was fab especially the 2 shows performed by Racheal Hawnt ; what an amazing voice!
