On the whole, an enjoyable experience, good food and excellent service.

First MSC cruise since lockdown. Very impressed everything went off as before, no problems.

I didn't use cruise excursions, I traveled on my own. I knew the area and was better on my own. I didn't like opening time for kids 0-3years. Was not enough 2h a day, I needed longer time and different hours. Everything else was perfect.

The provision of kosher meals was appalling. MSC seemed to have gone for the cheapest and poorest. it was disgusting. Certainly no luxury cruise. Not even a glass of water with meals free, truly a very bad service. only reason I used MSC is that it did many of the islands I wanted . Ship was fine but my cabin window overlooked the top of lifeboat . Staff were good but its MSC organisation that was poor. no help with luggage and on registration waited 1/2 for bell boy to take luggage to room. reception very unhelpful.

Dining: food often cool-tepid, also had to be returned 4 times as it was not edible unless you had the jaws of a crocodile. It did improve the last 4 days of our cruise. I didn't take kindly having to pay for water when restaurant dining, past cruise a jug of iced water is always provided. Transport from ship to town (to dock gates or where about) very, very expensive. Last time I was in Marseille there was a free shuttle bus, MSC charged €16. 99pp. Thank god it was raining. Barcelona was €9. 99 although local transport was €4. There were problems for other passengers. Not one person I talked to would return to MSC.
