Great experience
Don't pick this as your first cruise... the North Sea can be very cruel and it didn't let me down.... 36 hours and it was the most awful crossing. Ship amazing, cabins room, great shower and bathroom, all new furniture etc. Food in the Buckingham was very nice but we booked for the early and got dropped to the 8:15 setting, not good for the body and digestion system. The Borough market food wasn't to my taste, it was like school dinners..!! Staff friendly and very helpful to those disabled and required assistance around the ship and getting off. Entertainment was very good, loved the short plays with the Irish guy and Welsh girl, they were the stars. Piano player was ok but lacked sparkle. Everything on board seemed to be extra, tea, coffee, soft drinks, water etc and we paid more than we would for 2 months at home for a wifi package. The Clifton Lounge was my favourite spot, sitting looking out over the Fjords reading a book or two. The jigsaw and puzzle/library room was useful, we actually did a jigsaw, took 3 hrs, shame we couldn't find where the other jigsaws were stored , staff were unaware too. Yes i would recommend the ship without hesitation but just beware of all the hidden extras.
