Customer reviews for Britannia
Very well organised from flights, arrival, to exit. Food excellent both in Fine, main dining and buffet. Buffet needs to cut back on the amount of Indian food, curries so often. Main dining has much less choices as previous years also less server's, (Introduced an additional cost menu) we felt they are being pushed too far, meaning we are waiting far too long between courses meaning we miss out on the earlier Entertainment. Entertainment is very repetitive if you are a regular cruiser on same ship. Yes it costs a lot to put on a show, & if a pianist, they are normally in the crows nest or antrim but never in theatre? Theatre are still doing 5 year or 4 year old shows,. Very little waiter service around upper decks and no individual drink units on the sea days on any upper decks. If going to actual Bar more often you had to find waiter to place order on their ipad other than having the bartender serve you direct. Sail-aways are pretty much non existent, much better when the Entertainment team & dj on the dekz did it, Exile are very good (band who did the majority of sail- aways) but didn't get the crowd nor had the right vibe and energy. Shame. . . as once upon a time not long ago people were dancing round the pool and by beds. Now an odd one. If any. Cabin stewards do an excellent job, as do we feel the majority of employees. Hygiene has improved at buffet entrance with employee advisor on washing of hands along with large standing sign and gel station. Yet still some don't wash!! * Great selection of movies in Cabin, but who goes on a cruise to watch TV. And what's the point on Freedom dining when your advised to log on to a Virtual queue, & only opens at 5. 30 and dining begins at 6pm. We didnt use virtual but arrived at 6. 40 and received a buzzer gaining entry at 7. 25 leaving at 8. 55. Didn't use the Main dining room much as we liked to go to the early sitting at the Theatre/Show 8. 30. Otherwise it was 10. 30. Would I say never again? A Big NO. . We love Brittania & P&O We love that ship, but going on to Arvia next time. Hopefully the Entertainment is different. And services are quicker esp Bar/Dining Overall too many cutbacks .
Great ports Great cabin Great cruise
Britannia was beautiful in every way. the trouble started with the airline a 20 hours delay, sat in a seat for 5 hours without been offered a drink, and it’s looking like no compensation. I will not be flying with Norse Atlantic the service was very poor
Good service and accommodation. Food presentation and choice excellent. Pity single supplements are so great, lowering these would give more single people to the ability to take and enjoy more holidays. Excursions very expensive as is the price to use the Internet. Too much dependence on Internet on board, especially for older people who are not tech savvy. I would have not been able to cope had I not been accompanied by a family member.
