Spain cruises
While it may be widely accepted that Cadiz is Europe's oldest city, this is a travel destination which should not be left in the past. History is an unavoidable draw of this city so lose yourself in the charming streets of the Old Town, stopping off along the way at the spectacular 18th century cathedral. Despite its historical significance, Cadiz still exudes the holiday atmosphere that so many travelers want to enjoy and where better to do so than the Playa de la Caleta, the most popular beach in the city and the perfect place to watch the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean. For something to eat, you won't have to walk far to find a cosy bar selling traditional Spanish tapas, but for something a little livelier, venture to the Mercado Central Abastos and fill up on fried fish and cool down with a generous scoop of artisan ice cream.
