Caribbean Princess

A multi-million dollar spring 2017 refurbishment sees Caribbean Princess sailing with an enhanced onboard experience like never before. Set sail on this impressive Grand Class cruise ship from Princess Cruises and island hop the idyllic Caribbean islands in style. Princess Cruises distinctive luxurious class of American-style cruise holidays promise that you’ll not only see the world but come back new.

At the forefront of innovation, and demonstrating a desire to keep up with modern cruising, Princess Cruises’ exciting enhancements for Caribbean Princess include Princess Luxury Beds (designed by sleep and beauty experts to offer a perfect night’s sleep), more interconnecting staterooms for a better family holiday, seven exciting new dining venues, updated kid’s and teen hangouts and a new HD screen for an upgraded Movies under the Stars experience. In addition, March 2018 will see the introduction of new onboard technology known as Ocean Medallions.

As one of the largest ships in the Princess Cruises’ fleet, Caribbean Princess has a capacity for 3,140 passengers and boasts an incredible 19 decks. There are 900 balcony staterooms and a dedicated deck for Club Class mini-suites with exclusive dining.

With many Caribbean fly-cruises available, a cruise holiday with Caribbean Princess is packed full of fun for the whole family both ashore and onboard.

Are you a traditional diner? Or do you want to eat where and when you want? One of the great things about this ship is that you can do both.

Through the day, visit Horizon Court and Café Caribe, which are open all day long, cooking up breakfast or lunch, which includes Caribbean favourites for the adventurous cruiser, such as fried banana and peanut butter sandwiches. Check out the poolside eateries, which supply a constant flow of pizza, burgers and hot dogs.

At night, Palm Dining Room offers tastefully traditional dining. Your personal table waiter will take care of everything throughout the meal, which could include signature pasta, seared seabass, Caesar salads...the list goes on, because it changes every night. Coral and Island offer Anytime Dining, denoting a buzz for guests who are always on the go.

Treat yourself to Sabatini’s or Crown Grill one night. These are Princess’ signature restaurants, well-worth the supplement being the Pavarotti of dining options. The International Café in The Piazza is a haven for serial snackers. It’s open 24-hours a day, serving up fresh-baked pastries, paninis, coffees and salads. The smell of fresh baked goods in the morning is the perfect alarm clock.

Princess Chefs are highly specialised with an equally expert appetite for service, which is prevalent with all Princess employees onboard, who ensure your gourmet journey is unforgettable.

Waking up by the ocean is a tranquil experience; Enjoy lounging in front of Movies under the Stars in the calypso pool area with complimentary popcorn in front of 250 to 350 square feet of LED entertainment.

During the day, visit the Explorers Lounge where you could be adding to your art collection in the art auction, make new friends in the Nintendo Wii Sports tournaments, or enjoy performances from the onboard magicians and comedians.

The Piazza Lounge offers fine musical performances from top musicians, all within the palatial, grand setting of this central space. Head down to the 1960s Crooners martini bar for a refined environment, and drift away to the sound of the in-house pianist.

At night, there is a selection of high-energy, light hearted or relaxing entertainment on offer. Club Fusion is strongly recommended if you don’t take yourself too seriously; the Marriage Game always causes a few laughs. Depending on your music taste, Skywalker Nightclub and Wheelhouse Bar will get the party started, from 60s-90s music, to soft rock. Mamma Mia! There are so many shows to see in the Princess Theatre. Prepare to be blown away by the breadth of shows, and treat it as your own personal Broadway experience. The Churchill Lounge and the Casino are nearby for those wanting to escape the shows and watch sport, smoke a cigar, or take their chances on the Poker table.

If all of this isn’t enough though, why not learn a new skill? There is a huge choice of workshops available on Caribbean Princess - from Ballroom Dancing to Photoshop Classes. Along with this, the boutique shops are great if you are looking to get a gift for yourself or a loved one, and you can keep in touch with everyone back home from the Internet Café.

When it comes to looking after yourself, there are plenty of fitness opportunities and spa facilities to choose from.
The Lotus Spa Fitness Centre houses a range of gym equipment for everyday fitness, or there are exercise classes you can choose from if you fancy something more specialised. These might be yoga, boot camp, or TRX suspension training among others.
After a tough work out, what better way to relax than by spending time in the adult-only Sanctuary - a chill out area with loungers, meals and drinks, and stewards to attend to you should you want anything. Or, indulge yourself in a treatment at the Lotus Spa. Choose from a wrap, massage, facial, haircut, or even teeth whitening.
