The ship is looking a bit tired now and the aqua class cabin, although clean was in my view, not up to the standard expected at this level. Also, there are no USB charging ports in the cabin which is another oversight. The service, however was incredible especially in the Blu restaurant. There was a lot of upselling with over 30% of the daily activities chargeable and charging $82 for learning how to make pizza was excessive. Also, the charges for eating in the speciality restaurants again in my view were excessive. Overall, I enjoyed my cruise on the Equinox but the ship could really do with a refit.

Cruise destinations were exactly as expected ship was excellent

On the whole found the entertainment, in both theatre and lounges were very good, live musicians were very welcome. The ships layout was very good compared to other ships, the elevator locations were very well designed and the state room were never far away The main dinning room was overly tight for us forcing the waiters to struggle with their service, food was repetitious, The wine list was very limited and the drinks package limit was a bit low. Being told on occasion that we couldn’t afford a beverage as it was a little too expensive. The table availability was limited and often we were forced to stand among diners while a table was being prepared The only excursion we had was the all day of Rio, which was a little hurried, and quite expensive.

Embarkation took too long in Lisbon. Older people should have been allocated a separate line. Food is good but ethnic selection lacked full authentic flavour.

All aspects of the cruise were good, but the holiday was made by the staff onboard. Every single member of the crew were dedicated to the customer and it showed.

Fantastic service from our Iris our cabin girl through to sommelier Elif, Waiter Isa and Aranza at table 359. In fact all the crew were outstanding. Ship was lovely too.

Cafe service was good.

Cruise was great, food excellent.

The staff were amazing; so friendly, helpful, and made you feel so special. Nothing was too much trouble. The Celebrity Equinox is a lovely ship with spacious balcony cabins. The buffet was plentiful and the Silhouette restaurant's food and service were first class, our waiting staff were the best.
