Every stateroom onboard Celebrity Flora is a suite and the design is an innovative concept in that they are all outward facing. This is so that all guests really get to embrace the Galapagos and the ocean around them.
The Penthouse Suite is the largest, most luxurious suite in all the Galapagos Islands. Even the bathrooms feature outward facing spa tubs and a floor-to-ceiling window.
The Royal Suite highlights the destination with a separate living area, bedroom and private balcony. The king-size bed faces outwards offering amazing views along with the spa tub and separate shower.
The Ultimate and Premium Sky Suites have an infinite veranda. This is new for Galapagos cruise ships and takes the innovative feature from Celebrity Edge. The concept takes you closer to the water’s edge, bringing the outside in. At the touch of a button, your stateroom can turn into a balcony giving you open-air access. These suites are 31 to 40 square metres, while there are also two slightly smaller Sky Suites offering you the chance to have a balcony as well as an infinite veranda.
Discovery Lounge- this is where most of the activity happens onboard, such as presentations and briefings hosted by the naturalists. During these you’ll learn about the activities and excursions that are available to participate in. There’s a full bar and a mini stage here too while the walls are floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding you, giving this a great view during the day and lively atmosphere at night.
Observatory- a cosy area where you have a complete library dedicated to the Galapagos Islands. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows, it’s the perfect place to check out all the stunning views and learn more about the location.
The Vista- open-air hideaway is the ultimate place to chill out onbaord. Here you can relax in the hot tub while cocoon-style loungers and cabanas offer cocktails and peace and quiet. There’s even a stargazing area, because with no light pollution your view of the Milky Way will be like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. Plus there are naturalists on hand to point out all the constellations.
The Lab - yes, Celebrity Flora even has a lab onboard! Here you can join in with the research and learn more about the biological science in this part of the world. Celebrity Cruises had the opportunity to blend exploration and research by making Celebrity Flora the first vessel in the Galapagos to be equipped with cutting-edge oceanographic research equipment, known as Oceanscope.

In addition, every night up to four guests can book the ‘Top Deck Galapagos Glamping Experience.’ This amazing experience allows lucky guests to stay in two cabanas - one for sleeping and one for al fresco dining. In the evening, dinner is served and in the morning you’re treated to breakfast in bed as you see a beautiful sunrise over the water.
Celebrity Cruises offer a seven-night Inner and a seven-night Outer Loop cruise of the Galapagos to give you the choice of two varying routes around the different islands. Some of the ports in these itineraries will be the same and some of them are different, but both itineraries offer incredible ports of call within the Galapagos and amazing wildlife and scenery to experience.
The big difference when comparing these itineraries is the temperature of the water and the wind. On the Inner Loop it will be slightly warmer and less windy in certain places due to the other outer islands sheltering you. This factor also depends on the time of your cruise, of course. When it comes to wildlife both season and location play a part in what species you get a chance to spot, for instance sea lions’ birthing season being in October.
There is also a chance to extend your cruise and book a 10, 11 or 16-night package. This could include pre and post-cruise adventures in; Quito, Ecuador, Lima and Cuzco, Peru and the extraordinary Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu as part of our fantastic cruise and stay packages.
There will be a team of trained experts on ‘Flora’ with you. You’ll have a Galapagos National Park certified Expedition Leader, naturalist staff and expedition guides, plus daily naturalist briefings and Galapagos expert lectures onboard your ship. Therefore, if you have any questions about the islands while onboard, on an excursion or out and about, they’ll be on hand to give you expert advice and information.
Celebrity Flora has the highest ratio of Certified Naturalists per guest (1:9) in the Galapagos, who can offer travellers an in-depth experience with certification by the Galapagos National Park, recognising their extensive educational training and commitment to maintaining the pristine nature of these islands.
The zodiacs are the only way on and off the ship and are launched carrying 12 guests and 1 naturalist. Embarking from the marina at the back of the ship is an easy and comfortable way to voyage ashore each day. They’re also a great way to get up close to nature where bigger water craft can’t go. You’ll find plenty of equipment to make the most of during excursions, from walking and snorkelling gear to binoculars.
