When first launched Freedom of the Seas was officially the largest cruise ship in the world and the first in Royal Caribbean’s popular Freedom class of ships. Famously hailed as a ‘city at sea’, with so much to do onboard you’ll not want to leave this exciting ship.

Families are well looked after with Freedom of the Seas thanks to the amazing kids facilities, allowing them to travel the seas in their own style. In addition, the Adventure Ocean kids club offers somewhere for kids to make new friends while parents have some vital alone time!
There’s only one place to be aboard Freedom of the Seas on sunny days at sea and that’s in your cozzie at one of the fantastic swimming pool areas. Take your pick from the fun-filled, family friendly kids pools, aqua park play area and slides or the chilled-out hot tubs, spa and adult-only solarium.
You'll be delighted by the range of restaurants onboard Freedom of the Seas, with complimentary dining venues offering food throughout the day, making sure you have the freedom to eat whenever you want. You'll also find Cafe Promenade is always there for you, whenever you need a coffee fix.
As well as plenty of activities to do during the day, from games arcades and sports courts to the pools and spa, don’t forget to take in a show after dinner or head to the nightclub and casino for late-night fun and games on Freedom of the Seas.
From chilled out lounges to high-energy, late-night bars Freedom of the Seas has a venue for everyone. Grab a cool cocktail poolside, take in a show at the piano bar or sip a nice, crisp pint at the pub.
Lovely ship but felt really full, there were 500 + under 17s on this ship which is something we have not had in such great numbers before and so lots of baby buggies to avoid and also lots of tied children up far too late. I think families with children shoul take the early dining option the later one was far too late for some and we saw you children still up passed midnight ( not something we ever did with our 3 sons) which made for tired children the next day. But apart from that the ship is lovely our room was really good lovely large windows floor to ceiling and a generous sized room which was kept beautiful and clean. The food on board was xcellent we paid for the specialty restaurant package 3 restaurants which in hindsight I would not bother with in future as the main dining room was excellent. We loved the free drinks package and would definitely look for this package for our next cruise. We had our grown up son and his fiancé with us this was her first cruise and she really enjoyed it they are now looking at a cruise for their honeymoon next year.
