We had an excellent time on board the Marella Voyager. The ship was lovely, and clean, the food was excellent and service in the Latitude excellent. Shout out to Manji, Dev and Dita cabin stewards who were very friendly and welcoming. They did an excellent job of tidying up our cabin despite my very untidy hubby! They also went out of their way to decorate the cabin for my husband’s birthday which was such a lovely gesture. We look forward to our next trip.
We had a great holiday, loved the ship and our cabin. The staff were all so friendly and polite, especially Jerlyn in the restaurant/kitchens who really went out of her way to make a special effort with our little boy who can be a little shy with strangers. He loved looking for Jerlyn in the restaurant and was always so happy to see her, which was lovely to see. It would be good to know that Jerlyn receives this feedback and that she is given something by way of recognition.
Our first cruise, couldn’t really fault a thing. We might be better informed about cabin choice another time. That said, we found everything clean and comfortable, food, drinks and service all great. We enjoyed the shows that we saw, including comedian. We arranged all our own shore trips which worked out well & we would do that again. We upgraded the drinks package which we felt was good value. It not only meant ale was a beer option but also that there were more choices of fizz, cocktails & wines, more selection of soft drinks (San Pelegríno’s tins were refreshing & welcome on warm days), but we also enjoyed the options available at the coffee shop. We had an outside cabin. Worked well for us - we were in port each day with just 1 day at sea so didn’t really feel the need for a balcony. There were plenty of places around the ship to sit in the day and evening. We always managed to eat in our restaurant of choice and didn’t feel the need to go to any of those with extra charges. The menus in the included restaurants changed each night. Staff work so hard and the public areas on the ship are constantly being cleaned. Rooms cleaned and tidied 2, sometimes 3 times a day. Staff generally delightful. Of particular mention, Kristen, Manoj, Sidik and Rita who cleaned the cabins and kept them fresh and were so welcoming. How Kristen learned and remembered so many names I don’t know, but she did! Also need to mention Lion and the team who worked in the Latitude 53 restaurant and took such great care of us. This won’t be our last cruise and we can’t see any reason not to return with Marella. It felt very good value for money and not at all stuffy. Thanks so much to all who made our holiday so memorable.
Excellent cruise and friendly, helpful staff.
I have booked with planet cruise a few times now and have not been disappointed. This cruise was no different. Great food and the drinks package was great. It was my first time on a Marella Ship, and value for money it was great. The hotel we had was in a stunning location. Overall cant fault the holiday.
Very well organised from start to finish. The staff were all fantastic and very pleasant. The food was delicious in the restaurants, the ‘kitchens’ were a bit hit and miss, but for the money it was very good value. The cabins were a bit tired and in need of updating. I cannot rate the excursions or activities as I did not use them.
Morella Voyager (being their newest ship) has been designed really well. Very clean and tidy with plenty of space on the decks. No problems getting a sun bed in the sun or in the shade, there’s plenty of them around the ship in different places. We had a cabin with a large balcony which had 2 sun beds, 2 chairs, a table and a hammock, which was fantastic. However, this extra balcony space seemed to make the cabin a little smaller. The entertainment on board was brilliant, twice daily quizzes by the pool, live music by some great bands in between. Pool games and deck games throughout the day. Bars around the pool sometimes got really busy but there are plenty of staff walking around endlessly to take your orders and bring your drinks to you. Inside there are plenty of different bars and restaurants (where the quality and range of food is fantastic) for you to relax and eat, a shopping arcade to stroll around with different shops to explore, a specialty coffee shop, gaming place and small library. There’s also a late nightclub and casino at the top of the ship. Got to mention the onboard staff. They were amazing. From the brilliant, polite and friendly room attendants who attend to your every need, the bar staff and tireless waiters, the chefs and table attendants to the cast of the twice nightly shows. TUI should be really proud of all of these. All in all, this was an amazing cruise.
Fantastic cruise great itinerary, ship clean, food excellent, crew friendly and helpful, housekeeping staff amazing. Highly recommend this cruise with Marella.
Overall a very enjoyable cruise. Staff were very responsive, positively, to any requests or problems. Would certainly use Marella again. Ship was clean, restaurants and food choices good. My only criticism is currency exchange rates were not good value.
Staff were excellent throughout the ship. Entertainment amazing such talented singers and dancers. Food good especially enjoyed the variety and the table service dining. Although the ship was sailing at full capacity it never felt crowded.
