MSC Grandiosa

Cruisers of all ages will love the onboard atmosphere and facilities that can be found on MSC Cruises' Grandiosa. With some incredible entertainment and recreational options, and a great range of restaurants, every minute spent onboard will be full of fun and enjoyment.

One exciting and innovative onboard feature is the in-cabin, voice-controlled assistant, ZOE. Activated by simply saying 'OK Zoe', cruisers can then ask almost anything they want to know about their cruise. The piece of technology can provide cruise information, suggestions, and can help with booking onboard services.

Whether you cruise as part of MSC Yacht Club and enjoy the exclusive dining and spa facilities, or opt for a standard cabin, all guests will benefit from the delicious cuisine, world-class entertainment, and great service onboard the ship.

In addition to the main restaurant and buffet choices, MSC Grandiosa offers some fabulous dining opportunities at their range of speciality restaurants. Whether you prefer Asian, Italian, popular, or innovative food, there will be something to suit your taste. Not only this, but various speciality venues can cater for families with their extensive children's menus. Onboard restaurants include;

  • Main restaurants – L’Olivo Doree & Panorama. These both have regularly-changing menus offering an array of tasty and varied cuisine.
  • Marketplace Buffet. Always a favourite among families, this casual venue enables diners to help themselves to a wide range of foods, from healthy options to naughty desserts.
  • MSC Yacht Club Grill. Open to MSC Yacht Club guests only, this stylish venue boasts a menu of delicious cuisine, all served by attentive and welcoming waiting staff.
  • There is also a great selection of speciality restaurants onboard for cruisers who want to celebrate onboard, or simply fancy something a little different. These are:

  • Kaito Sushi Bar – anyone who enjoys this Japanese cuisine should dine in this stylish venue during their cruise.
  • Butcher’s Cut – carnivores can find the perfect steak at this warm and welcoming restaurant, which also serves seafood dishes.
  • Ristorante Italiano – choose from a selection of authentic Italian fare in this contemporary bistro.
  • L’Olivio d’oro Restaurant – find a menu of Mediterranean favourites at this atmospheric, homely venue.
  • Kaito Teppanyaki – watch as delectable Asian food is prepared on hot plates before you, by the very best skilled chefs.
  • Between 11 am and 7 pm guests can also treat themselves to a personalised dessert at The Ice Cream Bar, where you can choose from a wealth of different flavours and tasty toppings.

    Cruisers can spend their evenings onboard making the most of a great array of entertainment options. For unforgettable nights go to the Carousel Lounge, which hosts two Cirque du Soleil performances twice daily, six days a week. Watch in awe as incredibly skilled acrobats show off their abilities and astound audiences. In this venue, a tasty dinner is also served, and it transforms into a disco area later in the evening. Other productions are held in the Broadway Theatre, these could be live music and dance shows, or full blow theatrical affairs. Live music, karaoke, and comedy acts can be seen in the TV Studio & Bar, where guests can also take part in live, televised games and quizzes, and show off their skills in the talent contest. The Casino Imperiale is another vibrant choice where those who enjoy gambling can partake in a few different games.

    On the other hand, if you and yours would prefer a more low-key evening, MSC Grandiosa offers all sorts of tasteful bars and lounges;

  • Sky Lounge & Bar – sit back and chat with friends, sipping on a drink and watching live music
  • Polar Bar – stay out and enjoy the sun with a cocktail in hand at this outdoor venue
  • Horizon Bar – another al fresco option, ask the friendly bartenders here to create you a tasty cocktail
  • Grandiosa Bar & Lounge – a central venue which acts as a social hub onboard

  • Brass Anchor Pub – make this British-style pub your new ‘local’
  • In addition to these, MSC Yacht Club members can also go to the Top Sail Lounge or MSC Yacht Club Lounge & Bar. These exclusive venues offer a great menu of drinks as well as superb service.

    If the night veers toward dancing, the Attic Club is the ship’s exciting night club venue.

    MSC Grandiosa features the perfect facilities to take care of your health and wellbeing. The spacious gym is fitted with top-of-the-range equipment including treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and weight machines, and also has space for a floor workout. It’s also possible to book personal training sessions and attend group classes such as Yoga if preferred.

    After working up a sweat, relax and recuperate at the beautiful MSC Aurea Spa. This tranquil setting boasts a thermal area, sauna, steam room, and whirlpool, as well as treatment rooms where guests can be spoiled with a soothing massage or refreshing facial. The nearby salon is also available for booking hair and nail appointments.

    One huge attraction to cruising onboard MSC Grandiosa is the number of exciting activities. Families will love the invigorating F1 simulators, splashing around in the Polar Aquapark, showing off skills in the full-sized bowling alley, and getting involved in VR games and at the 4D Cinema. The Sportsplex also offers opportunities to play team sports like basketball and football as well. Another favourite is the poolside movie screen, where guests can snuggle up and watch a blockbuster with blankets and popcorn to hand.

    The onboard kid’s clubs offer some thrilling enrichment opportunities for little ones in the form of the Doremi Lab, where they can try all sorts of science experiments, and the Doremi Chef, where they can take part in cookery lessons.

    While little ones are occupied, grown-ups can browse the onboard shops to pick up some gifts and souvenirs. The Jean Philippe Maury chocolate shop is a particular must-see, where you can watch master chocolatiers at work, and enjoy a hot chocolate and pastry in the café.
