Onboard Activities
Children's Facilities (1)
While children are welcome onboard, you won’t find many child-focused activities and amenities available on National Geographic Islander II. Select voyages will feature the National Geographic Explorers-in-Training programme, though, which aims to further enrich young cruisers’ experience onboard with interactive educational experiences; and, elsewhere, the crew will endeavour to make each voyage as exciting as possible for younger guests.
Swimming (3)
With National Geographic Islander II, you’ll have the chance to take advantage of a variety of watersports equipment at select stops on your itinerary – from kayaks and stand-up paddle boards to snorkelling gear and more. Beyond this, you’ll also find a plunge pool on the Observation Deck, ideal for soaking up the sunshine while admiring the sensational scenery surrounding you.
Restaurants (3)
Dining on National Geographic Islander II is a wonderful experience, and you’ll find the restaurants onboard deliver a variety of options at every meal time; with modern takes on classic dishes from around the world available alongside regional dishes made with local ingredients, there will always be something for everyone to enjoy – and, through your food, you’ll find yourself further connected to the fascinating environment around you.
Entertainment (12)
The entertainment available on National Geographic Islander II is low-key, with the destinations on your itinerary the real focus of each expedition. That being said, you will find comfortable lounge spaces with well-stocked bars on this cruise ship, and an entertainment programme featuring talented performances from local musicians and dancers, informative talks from expert guest speakers, and so much more.
Bars & Lounges (3)
National Geographic Islander II is home to two bars, and an abundance of lounge seating. With just 48 guests onboard at any one time, you’ll always find somewhere to sit and enjoy refreshments while socialising with friends and family – be that up on the Observation Deck, or in The Cove, which is the main lounge venue onboard.
