Oceania Cruises Nautica offers comfort and function aplenty for intrepid travel, but doesn't skimp on style. Carrying 684 passengers on a wide range of itineraries that might see her sailing the Mediterranean one week and Southeast Asia the next, she has her fair share of adventures under her belt.

Aboard this medium-sized vessel, you'll find a fairly intimate atmosphere, a variety of dining options, an extensive spa and a range of entertainment venues all offering excellent service.

For accommodation, a variety of options are available, but if you're used to paying top dollar, you'll want to enquire about the Owner's Suite. There are only six of these stunning rooms aboard the Nautica but their luxurious features are second to none, including priority embarkation and luggage delivery, a laptop computer and a Queen-size Tranquility bed.

A multi-million dollar refurbishment in 2014 saw Nautica receive extensive onboard updates such as refreshed public lounges, a soothing new colour palette for Horizons Bar, exciting new cuisine and refreshment choices and significant suite updates. Luxurious wall-to-wall bathrooms have been fitted in the Owner and Vista Suites, and the Penthouse Suites have benefitted from new furnishings and rich upholstery.

This Oceania Nautica cruise ship offers a number of dining options that range from stately and formal to casual and friendly. A highlight of the cruise is guaranteed to be the classy Grand Dining Room, boasting luxury on a grand scale but managing to remain approachable and warm. With world-class cuisine and service to match, make each mealtime onboard a special occasion.

Other enticing dining options include 28- day dry aged steak in the classic and sophisticated Polo Grill, or the mouthwatering flavours from the authentic Italian cuisine served in Toscana. Meanwhile Waves Grill, which occupies a shaded corner on deck, allows for poolside dining with tangy barbecue, succulent seafood and tasty, made-to-order Poke Bowls. The chefs even cook your food in front of you so you can observe their spectacular knife skills.

The Terrace Café is described as informal and care free, and with indoor and outdoor seating available, this venue changes atmosphere from morning to night. The cook-to-order grill features lobster tail, steak and regional specialities that are not to be missed.

Oceania's signature Baristas Coffee Bar can be enjoyed onboard with complimentary coffees and homemade biscotti, while over at Horizons, Oceania Nautica's Afternoon Tea is a celebrated daily event accompanied by a classical string quartet.

Keeping yourself occupied aboard the Nautica shouldn't be difficult, although parents are advised there is little for children to do.

You'll definitely want to check out the extensive spa and fitness facilities, with opportunities to pamper yourself or relax depending on how you feel.

Another option is the English-inspired library, which allows you to spend as long as you like in a quiet environment with a good book.

Finally, Oceania Cruises puts a plethora of singers, dancers and entertainers together to set the evening alight with marvellous music. Other activities include martini tasting and boutique shopping.
