Covid-19 Testing

Guests are required to take a coronavirus antigen test before being allowed to board. This will be paid for and done by the cruise line. Another test will be done before guests can depart.

Further detail around requirements specific to your cruise will be provided to you prior to departure and can be checked on the cruise line pages here.

Health and Safety Procedures

Social distancing will be key on an Oceania cruise, and will be facilitated through a reduced guest capacity and increased spacing between seating in ship venues. To further reduce contact, service in restaurants and bars will be contactless. Guest hygiene will be encouraged through more hand sanitiser stations throughout the ship. Cleaning is also key, and stringent health and safety measures will include frequent disinfection of public areas and touch points, while staterooms will be disinfected daily.

Face Masks

Apart from when guests are in their own accommodation, or eating and drinking in restaurants, bars and lounges, face masks must be worn at all times. If social distancing cannot be maintained outdoors, face masks will also be required here.

Excursions and Going Ashore

To ensure that guests can head ashore safely, Oceania Cruises are partnering with their local destinations and tour operators. However, it is also expected that guests can explore ashore independently, although this policy will be reviewed frequently

Please see the itinerary page for exact details that apply to your sailing.

Passport and Insurance Requirements

Guests must have appropriate holiday insurance which covers all travel, cancellation, medical and repatriation liabilities at a minimum.
