I enjoyed the cruise a lot - it gave me the opportunity to visit a range of places in Canada, Greenland, and Iceland which would have been pretty much impossible if I’d travelled in any other way. I was impressed by the service Norwegian provided. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. I think the holiday was good value for money, given what you get for the price, but it *is* quite an expensive way to travel, so I shall not be doing it every year - in a couple of years’ time, though, I’d be interested in doing one of Norwegian’s trips through the Panama Canal.
Had a lovely time.
Our whole experience was excellent, from the time we got on the ship to the time we left. The ship never appeared crowded and there were never any queues even in the buffet restaurant. All the restaurants we tried were excellent, good quality food and always hot. Always made to feel important from all the staff. Would use NCL again if the cruise came up.
Highlights were the great dining and service provided by NCL and their staff. Food was very plentiful and mainly excellent quality especially in the speciality restaurants. Bars were equally good with excellent bar staff. The only exception to the above was O'Sheehans bar, which offered mediocre food and service in our experience. The balcony room was spacious, well equipped, very clean, and well looked after by the porter. Activities onboard were very good - lots of different things to do and see including the shows and club events. 'The Excel' band in particular were entertaining. Could have done with a sports bar, didn't have pool, darts etc, and I would have preferred some activities of that nature. We went on one excursions which was very good in itself, but expensive. in general the excursions offered poor value, and transfers fromt he ship were limited and charged at $20 per head even if it was just a mile or so. Overall, very enjoyable.
Friendly staff, good food & drink, excellent onboard band - The Excell, a variety of other shows, 3 ports cancelled due to storm so beyond the control of NCL & recompense offered for disappointment. Overall, very good!
In general it was pretty good. We had amazing weather etc. Bad Points: We didnt get off in Montenegro, we stayed at the ship. Internet should be free, 34 dollars per day is too expensive.
Was a well organised trip as there was 22 of us travelling as my son got married on the cruise ship. Great experience.
A bucket list destination for sure. The Panama Canal is an amazing sight. The itinerary was excellent with six ports of call as well as the two US ports at start and finish. Plenty of choices for shore excursions. The ship was comfortable and we enjoyed Norwegian Cruise line, our first cruise with them. Usually we travel on smaller ships but chose this trip purely for the Canal. Had a bit of a problem at Heathrow with ESTA but luckily Planet Cruise was able to assist and get it sorted quickly. All in all a fabulous experience.
Take your first cruise and you'll never want to stop. It happened to us. Beautiful and wonderful experience, friendly atmosphere. We recommend it.
The friendliest and cleanest ship yet and the staff were amazing! Will cruise with Norwegian again. Just gotta save up again!! Planet Cruise was superb and everything went according to plan except the weather midweek but always plenty to do on board!
