On the Queen Anne as our first Cunard cruise, just 4 days out of Southampton.Easy check-in and very quick disembarkation, which was a surprise. Our stateroom was comfortable and well located for what we wanted. The dining room where we had dinner on two of the nights was not as crowded as we had expected. However, the service was slow on both nights and < we have to admit, the choices of dishes were uninspiring. The other two nights, we had the buffet dining on the 9th.deck. Again, the variety of dishes seemed limited to us, although we enjoyed what we had. The one downside was the apparent lack of staff there and their general lack of good humour and graciousness. Would we cruise again on this ship? Yes, we would as Cunard seemed to have continued their tradition for elegance, quiet and untroubled cruising.
Ship was stunning but it lacked the tradition of other Cunard ships. Very minimalist and similar to celebrity. Service and staff were outstanding : food incredible. But if you’re a traditional Cunard traveller you may be disappointed by Queen Anne.
