Overall good cruise but concerns about food quality and quantity in Britannia restuarant
The crew were excellent- very helpful and friendly. The food and service were excellent in Brittania Club. The entertainment not as enjoyable as previously - no classical music or big band.
Fabulous time on the Queen Elizabeth in a Q4 suite. Sailed out of Miami to Amber Cove, Montego Bay, Belize City and Cozumel - all interesting ports and new to us. Did Cunard excursions, all reasonably priced. Four sea days and four ports, the perfect blance. The ship was looking lovely, the entertainment was more to the American taste, particularly the so-called comedians! The food had improved and the menus changed, Vegetables on the plates, more fish dishes, different desserts. We are very regular travellers on the Elizabeth and the changes were very noticeable. The one thing that needs improving is the poor communication between departments - one person saying one time for an event and another saying a totally different time. Mixed weather with fog, wind and drizzle but we go for a break not sunbathing and not important to us. Cunard - can't beat them!
Generally a lovely experience with a great atmosphere on board. Plus the attention we got at ports was unexpected and a lot of fun! Staff were brilliant, definitely earned their tips by working extremely hard.
