Adults looking to escape the madness for a time onboard Spectrum of the Seas can head to the Adult Only Lounge Area for a little tranquility, and likewise, teens looking to escape their parents can go along to the Teen Lounge to meet other cruisers their own age!
Spectrum of the Seas boasts three swimming pools for all weathers so you can be guaranteed to swim whenever you want. There is also an amazing water park for you and the family to head to and make a splash.
As an Asia-based cruise ship, it won't be a surprise to learn that onboard Spectrum of the Seas, there is a significant focus on the fantastic cuisine that is available in this part of the world. Having said this, there are also plenty of Western-style dining options onboard, should you prefer more familiar food during the cruise.
There's something to do whatever your mood or time of day onboard Spectrum of the Seas. Have a go karaoke-ing at Star Moment or head to the Show Lounge for some brilliant live entertainment. See a classic film or latest blockbuster at the cinema or outdoor movie screen, or get settled in the library and lost in a good book.
Have you ever had a cocktail made by a robot for you before? No? Yes? Either way you should totally head to the Bionic Bar for one of these robotic cocktails - the experience itself is worth the trip! In terms of more conventional venues meanwhile to relax, catch up with friends or listen to live music, Spectrum has a bar for you too.
Great package. Ship was very clean and well equipped. A good variety of food and drink. The only bad point was the excursion we had planned the tour company didn't turn up, so a wasted morning. Not Planet Cruises fault and they quickly refunded us the cost of the trip. Shower was excellent in the cabin and it was very spacious. At sea days was always good, a chance to dress up. The shows were top quality . Looking to book my next cruise.
Planet Cruise put together an excellent holiday. They arrange all aspects of the holiday and you do not have to do anything. Where things fell short, they were not necessarily down to Planet Cruise. E.G., the entertainment on the boat was aimed at an American/Asian audience, not to our taste. The dining at times was a little chaotic - not intimate in the slightest. The only area I would ask Planet Cruise to consider is that one of our transfers was late. The emergency number was outside of Singapore where we were stranded (it was China). We could not call for help and the hotel were great in stepping in to help. Fortunately, the driver finally arrived (25 minutes late) whilst we were arranging alternative transfers to the airport. Please Planet Cruise, make sure emergency numbers are within the designated countries.
Amazing cruise. Fantastic food and staff could not do enough for you .
