Royal Caribbean International’s award winning Southampton based cruise ship is about to get even better with new onboard features announced for 2018.

Another great addition will be Splash Away Bay. This children's water park boasts a range of pools and slides, as well as water cannons, a jungle gym, and drench bucket!
Guests will also be able to take advantage of an amazing unique and innovative feature - the Skypad. This attraction is made up of four trampolines, which can either by enjoyed as they are - or with the added thrill of wearing a virtual reality headset. One of these can take you to your selected adventure, for instance jumping across the craters of the moon, or taking part in all sorts of games in space.
Other areas of the ship have also seen some enhancement, such as floor-to-ceiling windows in the public areas, and even staterooms boasting panoramic windows. A new Asian-inspired restaurant - Izumi - will also be introduced. Offering superb cuisine such as shrimp wonton soup, octopus, and sashimi.
The amazing new onboard features can be enjoyed onboard Independence of the Seas in summer 2018 after a multi-millon pound makeover. Those sailing before the refurbishment can still enjoy all of Indy's current facilities including:
