Customer reviews for Koningsdam
We were taken to some fabulous places in the height of luxury. The food, in general, was very good and the main restaurant’s menu was excellent. The dance shows were spectacular and the lectures very interesting. Our favourite was the B. B. Kings Blues Club which got us up dancing. On the down side, there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the cabin and we thought that the spa and internet access were overpriced. The cruise was remarkable and will live on in our memories forever. We would certainly recommend this wonderful experience.
Second cruise on the Koningsdam which is an excellent ship. Crew are friendly & eager to help. We had a Balcony stateroom which gives us a nice outdoor space (bit chilly in Alaska). Food is almost non-stop and the Have It All package makes for plenty of drinks. Excursions on the Alaska tour were a little energetic for us so we opted to take the Shore time to discover the areas for ourselves. We would definitely consider another Holland America cruise.
Good cruise, however the Lido buffet was a scrum, there was no self service and had to join long queues for food. I appreciate this was for hygiene reasons but could be inproved and tea and coffee in cabin would be nice.
