Thank you for a most enjoyable cruise. We chose Marella Discovery 2 to celebrate an 80th birthday and we're not disappointed. The crew were very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Liza, Ariel and Duran who looked after our cabin. The food was excellent in all the many dining options and the entertainment team were amazing. Embarking and disembarking were quick and efficient. Thanks again to Captain Freddie and his team.
Great boat and food. Cabin and restaurant staff couldn't do enough for you. Only negative were a disorganised Atrium bar team.
Marella most certainly have made recognised cutbacks though ship and cabin lovely the two stops in Cape Verdi total waste of time Unwelcoming and very hostile Nothing there to offer for tourists felt we were used as guinea pigs for Marella really Tui send a representative to the islands prior to sending your ships there or if you did even more shame on you we have made many repositioning cruises with Marella probably our last Entertainment also though the entertainment team are very good at what they do perhaps get on board more than two guest acts and probably a bit better than a Drag act and a Tom Jones impersonator though very good Also long waits at bars and some of the bar waiters very slow and miserable also when it comes to disembarkation day please please put mor than two young girls dealing with storing all the hand luggage would advise them to put at least four persons working together on it This then would reduce very long queues and enabling your guests to enjoy and have more time at their final destination before travelling home
Marella Cruises Aegean Delights on the Discovery 2. Nice destinations including Santorini, Crete and Alanya. Fantastic ship, nice cabin recently refurbished. Special credit to our very friendly and hard working cabin stewards Hendar, Melanie and Johnson! Great food and excellent entertainment. Cruise director Liam is a credit to Marella. You can tell he really cares about the staff and passengers. Look forward to another Marella Cruise soon!
