We did a two week cruise on Marella Explorer 2 to the Adriatic and Greece. The itinerary was fabulous, each country was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed each port of call. The ship is excellent with some lovely bars and restaurants. The food in the main dining room was good overall - a couple of nights where a course or two were disappointing. Our cabin was spacious and spotlessly clean thanks to our amazing stewards. We were on Deck 4 and I wouldn’t recommend it due to the engine noise each morning as we were docking - it was horrendous! Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise and would sail on Explorer 2 again - just on a quieter deck!
Enjoyed everything.
We haven’t done a re-positioning cruise before, but this cruise docked at places we haven’t been to before… it was nice to have a good rest on the sea days, except when we had to “batten down the hatches” due to bad weather… If I’m truthful we won’t do another re-positioning cruise… having said that, we will be doing more cruises. FYI… we have cruised for 27 years and always used Planet Cruise… never had any problems and would always recommend using Planet Cruise. Thank you for always looking after us. 🚢💕🚢💕🚢
Very enjoyable first time cruise. Loved the formal night, the Fine Dining and Flutes bar. Cabin stewards servicing rooms were very welcoming, friendly and professional.
