With world-class service and exceptional entertainment, including live music and mouth watering cuisine, those sailing onboard can expect the highest standards from the moment they step onboard.

Holland America Line's impressive choice of dining makes an appearance onboard Rotterdam, with formal restaurants and more casual venues available so you can fit your meal times around your own schedule.

Daytime Entertainment

If you're not out discovering the fascinating ports of call during your cruise, then you can spend your free time relaxing onboard Rotterdam. The main place to go is the Crow's Nest, where guests can find books, puzzles and boardgames to enjoy alone or with other guests. This is also home to Explorations Central where you can find destination resources to help you make the most out of your shore excursions, alongside lectures and port talks led by guest speakers.

There is also plenty to keep guests occupied with out on deck. Like on any cruise, the pool area is a popular spot for taking a dip or relaxing in the sun, and with lots of sun loungers to choose from, you're bound to have a relaxing afternoon in the fresh air.

Spa and Fitness

For those who love to stay active, the onboard sports court is the ideal place to go if you fancy some friendly competition against other guests. What's more, the onboard gym is fully-equipped for the perfect workout, whether you enjoy free weights, exercise machines or group fitness classes led by a professional.

Alternatively, if you'd rather use your free time for some relaxation, the Greenhouse Spa and Salon is on hand for all your pampering needs. No matter whether you'd like an invigorating body treatment, a stress-busting massage or a new haircut, the experts are ready and waiting to make you feel brand new.

Evening entertainment

If you like live entertainment, then you'll love evenings onboard Rotterdam. With so many venues, you're guaranteed to find one playing your favourite genre of music:

  • Billboard Onboard- head here and enjoy the chart hits from the last 50 years.
  • BB King's Blues Club- grab a drink and tap your foot to the rhythm of the blues music at this popular venue.
  • The Rolling Stone Rock Room- if rock music is your idea of a good night out, The Rolling Stone Rock Room, located on Music Walk, will play all your favourites throughout the night.

Alternatively, if you would rather spend your night at the theatre, the World Stage is an impressive venue where you can see some of the best performances at sea. What's more, with so many bars and lounges to choose from, there's plenty of opportunity to enjoy a pre-dinner drink with friends or a post-dinner tipple as the sun goes down.
