1. Team Activities for All The Family
Everyone will need to work together and support each other in these exhilarating and sometimes challenging activities. See if you can take on the Rubicon escape room by solving a series of clues together, tackle the rock-climbing wall as a team by shouting words of encouragement, guide your little ones - or even big kids - around the ice-skating rink, and test your skills on the surf simulator - FlowRider®.
2. Family Dining
Royal Caribbean’s ‘My Family Time Dining’ is tailored to suit families that want to eat together, but also enjoy a more sophisticated dining experience every now and then. For a grown-up evening, you can arrange for your children aged 3-11 to be served swiftly - before being picked up for fun and games by the Adventure Ocean® Kids Club. Also on offer is Windjammer world buffet, Johnny Rockets, and Sorrentos Pizzeria - plenty to cover all the family favourites.
3. Adventure Ocean® Program
Designed with both the parents and children in mind – the award winning Adventure Ocean® program ranges from babies & tots, to teenagers. Royal Caribbean realise how important it is to have fun, but to try and make fun educational, so their playgroup sessions are developed by early childhood experts. For that extra peace of mind, opt for a pager so that the Adventure Ocean® staff can stay in touch while you have some time to yourself, knowing your children are safely having a great time.
4. Poolside Movies
Going to the cinema as a family can be a really expensive day out - so save money and watch all kinds of movies onboard, all included in the cost. Get snuggled up with the family on a few loungers by the pool, grab a few snacks and drinks for everyone, and settle in for a truly special experience, watching blockbusters on the big screen out on the deck.
5. Adrenaline-filled Activities
With an abundance of activities onboard Harmony the Seas®, we can be sure that your children will be counting down the days until they embark. A world away from a trip to the park, take a plunge down the tallest slide at sea to spontaneous audio effects, for a multi-sensory thrill – and to remind yourself how tall the slide really is, dare to stand on the glass platform at the top. If that hasn’t conquered your family’s fear of heights then a 10 deck high Zipline should do it!
6. Sports to Play Together
As well as the great range of pools, Harmony of the Seas boasts a range of sports equipment and facilities that you can make the most of with your family. Compete against each other in a game of crazy golf, shoot some hoops on the basketball court, or test your skills at table tennis.
7. Splashaway Bay
Take your kids to a watery wonderland filled with water cannons, waterfalls, slides, a multi-storey jungle gym and more! This innovative feature is hugely popular among children, keeping them entertained for hours.
8. Family Theatre
The Aqua Theatre provides entertainment for all ages. Watch ‘The Fine Line’, to see extreme sport athletes perform intense stunts and acrobatic feats, and ’Hideaway Heist’ for a comedic dive show in a fun-filled performance. There are also some incredible professional ice-skating shows that will leave everyone mesmerised, and some fun in the indoor theatre, with popular productions such as Grease on offer. Not forgetting the fantastic song and dance parades that are regularly held on the Royal Promenade.
9. Teen Activities
Arguably some of the hardest people to please, teenagers will appreciate the option to have their own space on deck 15. We think that new-found friends paired with a video arcade, teen nightclub, and late hang out areas should be more than enough to keep them happy and entertained.
10. Neighbourhood Just for Kids
Located on deck 14, Kid’s Avenue is a central hub for all child-related fun, including an Adventure Science Lab, Adventure Art Studio, and a family craft workshop. Take a look at what’s going on at the Adventure Ocean Theatre, your child may be the most talented young person on the ship…
