Westerdam

Holland America Westerdam - initially, a little bit aged with some things obviously worn but the cabin and ship as a whole was very comfortable, even cosy. Food was great (very good Gluten Free options for Coeliac). Staff were superb - cabin attendants were really involved, always happy to help - rated them 10/10. Restaurant servers were always really helpful & the table waiters were really chatty and helpful. Only issue was ship kept running out of bottled water, diet coke - had problem with delivery of a whole container of provisions. The itinerary was very good and the in-ship app worked well. Laundry service was excellent.

Although the client group, on the ship, were a lot older than us, and this, I feel , was reflected in the activities on which offer, the ship and overall experience was fantastic. The food was exceptional and the staff on board were so welcoming and helpful, absolutely faultless The planning of our whole trip , by planet cruise, was exceptional, we didn’t have to worry about a thing!

The holiday was excellent, 3 stars for entertainment because there was not a lot really. The dining experience was the best we have had. The Mount Fuji tour was excellent, however it seemed a bit odd to be just left at the train station at the end of it.

Overall very good trip only complaints dining room and theatre very cold, and not able to stay in there long.
