Cruising with SeaDream Yacht Club

13 Feb 2018 | by Helen Williams

Those seeking a unique and decadent cruising experience will find that SeaDream Yacht Club doesn’t disappoint in any aspect. From the impeccable service and extensive onboard facilities, to itineraries filled with small and less-visited ports, this luxury line will certainly leave you wanting a longer holiday.

Yachts & Accommodation

SeaDream Yacht Club is comprised of two luxury yachts – simply SeaDream I and SeaDream II. These stunning vessels have been immaculately designed with the utmost care and attention, with sophisticated details found all over the yachts. There are four choices when it comes to accommodation, all of which boast ocean views;

  • Yacht Club Stateroooms
  • Commodore Suites
  • Admiral Suite
  • Owners Suite
  • Onboard Facilities

    When you’re not out exploring a new port or relaxing in your stateroom or suite, rest assured that there is plenty to do onboard both yachts. You’ll find a poolside movie screen where you can chill out in the warm breeze watching a film, there are multiple venues for live music – for instance the piano bar or even on deck – and a casino where you can try your luck at cards. More adventurous guests will love the water sport facilities found at the retractable marina – find equipment for snorkelling, kayaking, jet-skiing, and more. There are also various places for simply relaxing, including the Thai-certified spa, Balinese dream beds, and floating islands in the marina.

    Food & Drink

    Dining with SeaDream is an exquisite experience. Choose from a fantastic selection at the breakfast and lunch buffets, and delicious hearty food in the restaurant in the evenings. Wine lovers will appreciate the 5-course meal with well-thought out and well-paired wines, with a selection of bottles that many consider to be the finest at sea. Throughout the day you’ll find exotic fruits and other lighter bites on the deck, as well as pastries and coffee in the lounges. Poolside barbecues are also a firm favourite.

    Destinations

    SeaDream I and II are both perfectly intimate vessels, accommodating a maximum of just 112 guests and 95 crew members. The small size of the yachts means that they can dock in small and unique ports. Cruising to the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and now Cuba, guests can enjoy exploring some authentic and captivating destinations such as Seville, Monte Carlo, St Barts, and Anguilla. The yachts can also navigate Greece’s narrow Corinth Canal, which separates Peloponnese from the mainland.
