Fourth Ship to be built for Cunard

25 Sep 2017 | by Helen Williams

Cunard have announced that they have once again partnered with notable ship-builders, Fincantieri, to develop a fourth ship for their fleet.

Yet to be named, the new ship is due to arrive in 2022, which will mark the first time since 1998 that the luxury cruise line have had four vessels in service. She is to be built to host 3,000 guests, and will offer some fantastic new onboard facilities as a next-generation ship.

The coming years will see some brilliant enhancements to Cunard cruises, with new dining and entertainment opportunities to be introduced onboard, and exciting destinations to be added to various itineraries. The cruise line’s faithful customers – and indeed those who are new to cruise – will soon be able to enjoy all these changes, and look forward to many more incredible holidays with Cunard as their future seems to look ever-brighter.

Cunard have made this announcement as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of the esteemed Queen Elizabeth II, and in so doing have confirmed their commitment to their reputation as a traditional and opulent cruise line.
