Guatemala cruises
Located on the Pacific coast of Guatemala, a Puerto Quetzal cruise is the ideal way to discover some of this unforgettable Central American country. While the port itself is limited in terms of attractions, there is a local craft market, while the nearby fishing town of Iztapa is worth a visit. However, this cruise port is also perfectly located to see more of Guatemala, two bucket-list landmarks being the volcanic Lake Atitlán, UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Mayan ruins of Tikal, both of which can easily be reached on day trips from Puerto Quetzal. Alternatively, if you'd prefer to spend your time in a city, Antigua is only an hour and a half away. Here you can wander through cobblestone streets, admire the Baroque architecture and stop for delicious Guatemalan cuisine.
