Thomson Cruises
  • Overview

  • Family

Thomson Cruises started in 1995 with the intention of introducing couples and families to a huge selection of itineraries from a range of ports and airports, whilst making it as easy as possible with their cruise and stay options, along with all-inclusive drinks packages.

They have a great selection of onboard activities for juniors, along with a fantastic selection of indulgent bars and relaxing couples spa treatments.

The flagship, Thomson Dream, holds 1500 passengers, and like the rest of the 5-strong fleet, travels to winter-sun hot spots such as the Red Sea or Canaries, along with relaxing Mediterranean adventures + much more.

If you are a couple, a family, or first time cruiser, Thomson Cruises could be perfect for you.

If you require any assistance due to a disability, please let your Planet Cruise travel agent know at the time of booking. Medical centres are available onboard along with ramps and accessible cabins, however, some ships are limited.

In the case of pregnancy, women are able to sail up to their 28th week.

Cruise guides & features

Cuisine on board is anything from hearty British pub grub, to exotic specialties for those looking for a taste of local culture.

Thomson Cruise vessels offer buffets and restaurants, with the larger vessels being host to speciality restaurants that take influence from the destinations you visit.

Dining is a casual affair with Thomson Cruises, there are no designated meal times. You can look forward to donning your glad-rags for the occasional themed night or Captain’s Cocktail Party.

Tips are included in the cost of your cruise.
