Denmark’s capital Copenhagen instantly charms all who visit. Step off your cruise ship in this small 600 year-old city and it’s the attractive, colourful harbour-side buildings and network of canals that grab your attention. Built on a series of islands, it retains its air of a city close to the water. Its cobbled streets and graceful 17th and 18th century North European architecture add to the atmosphere.
